  • What makes me different from other Personal Trainers, Coaches and Therapists?
    I has more than 18 years experience helping clients achieve their goals. I have been fortunate enough to Iearn from some of the world’s most well-known trainers, coaches and therapists since starting my career. I travel internationally multiple times per year in the pursuit of knowledge and practical skills to help me help his clients. Please see "About Tom" section to see my credentials. I'm a former Team GB athlete and have been exposed to some of the most elite training protocols and strategies. I draw from these experiences and use them with my clients to enhance their sessions. I combine personal training, manual therapy and an in depth understanding of anatomy and biomechanics to achieve the best results possible. I'm proud to say over 95% of my clients come through personal recommendations. I seek to provide a holistic approach to helping my clients and have a vast network of health professionals including Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Sports Doctors, Psychologists, and Nutritionists that all come highly recommended that I frequently refer to and receive clients from. In addition to the above, I mentor a number of Personal Trainers to help them get better results with their clients.
  • How much do you charge?
    Personal Training: Consultation (60 mins) = £65. PT package: Includes: 10 x 50-minute Personal Training sessions Workout plans to follow outside one-one sessions. Nutrition plan. 24/7 WhatsApp support. Coaching and goal setting. = £600. Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation: Consultation (60 mins) = £65. 1 Session (50 mins) = £65. Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation package: Includes: 10 x 50-minute Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation sessions. Workout plans to follow outside one-one sessions. Nutrition plan. 24/7 WhatsApp support. Coaching and goal setting. = £600. Sports Massage: Consultation (60 mins) = £65. 1 Session (50 mins) = £65. 5 session package = £275.
  • What are your working hours?
    8AM - 6PM Monday - Friday. Weekend sessions are not available due to commitments to teaching and continuing professional development.
  • What’s included in the service?
    A highly experienced and qualified professional that is focused on results. Funtional movemet assesments. Breathing assesment. Gait analysis. Personalised gym / home / outdoor workout plans. Nutrition coaching. 24/7 email support.
  • How often do I need sessions?
    This depends on a number of factors. What you want to achieve, how long you have to achieve it, your current fitness levels, how much time you have available to you to dedicate to training etc. I have clients I sees everyday and also clients I see once per month. During the consultation we will both put a plan of action together that suits your abilities and your needs.
  • Where are you based?
    Tom Wood Fitness is based at Origin Workspace gym (40 Berkeley Square, Bristol BS8 1HP) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Sweatbox Gym (Units 2, 3 Princess St, Bristol BS3 4AG) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I offer home visits. A different rate per session will apply.
  • What is your session cancelation / rescheduling policy?
    Tom Wood Fitness has a 24 hours notice period if you need to re-schedule a session. You will not be charged for a session that you re-schedule with more than 24 hours notice. The full session fee will be charged to clients who cancel or re-schedule a session with less than 24 hours notice, or who fail to show up for their appointment. If you’re sick or unwell, or if any unforeseen emergency or circumstance occurs, then these are of course taken into consideration if you have to cancel or reschedule a session with short notice. If you need to make any changes to a scheduled session, then please contact me directly by calling my mobile and leaving a voice message. Please note that I am not able to accept cancellation messages via email, texts or any other social media.
